But what about in rural China? Every year in China, families get together to eat a crispy roast BBQ whole pig hog! This is some of the best Chinese food, better than a lot of street food around the world! In 2017, I was hoping to eat a whole roast pig, after eating so much street food in China, I was hoping to get some nice homecooked whole pig. Ting Ting invited me out to her hometown for the qingmingjie festival to eat a whole roat pig. The pork belly was the best part, and when wrapped around a sweet flatbread, it was heavenly. After eating Chinese food throughout a lot of mainland China, I have to say that this whole roast bbq whole pig hog in rural China was one of the best things I've eaten.
