I highly recommend going to the food street beside the main river and trying out these two dishes : 甜皮鸭 Tianpiya, the sweet skinned duck, and a bowl of 豆腐脑 tofu brain. Both were extremely satisfying and worth the drive alone. The tofu brain cost only 8rmb/ bowl (just over a dollar), and the duck was only 26 RMB for the half duck, around 5 dollars.
