Crispy Squid in Ao Nang, Krabi (Thai Beach Food)

►T-shirts: https://migrationology.com/store/ ►Thai Food Guides: https://migrationology.com/store/ Ao Nang is one of the major touristy towns of Krabi, located along the coast in the south of Thailand. There’s a beach in-between Ao Nang and Khlong Haeng, and in the day time, there are a bunch of vendors that set up shop across the street from the ocean. They sell a variety of different Thai foods, most of them being deep fried Thai seafood. You’ll find fish, squid, shrimp, and some other things as well, all waiting to be ordered and served. Typically, you can get a mat from the restaurant you choose to eat at, and they will set it up by the beach and you can order your food and they will bring it across the street as you sit there and eat. However, this particular day we went, there was a carnival going on, and so they beach was blocked by the carnival… so the restaurant had to set up some tables in the grass for us to eat at. So no beachside view this time, but same food, and we were sitting right across the road from the beach. We chose a restaurant called Sakirin Seafood (ซากีหรีน ซีฟู๊ด), located at the end of all the street food stalls. Much of the seafood is covered in a thin yellow batter and deep fried to a crisp… and I mean a serious crisp - so crispy it can cut the gums of your mouth crispy! The crispy squid and the crispy fish were my two favorite items of this meal. 150 ============================================= Thank you for watching this video!
