A player rushed to save a seagull after it was whacked by a soccer ball, performing CPR to revive the bird.
“Our captain, Gani Catan, revived the seagull on the pitch through CPR,” Istanbul team Yurdum Spor wrote on Instagram. Even though the team didn’t win, they said they were glad that “a life was saved.”
