US hits Kharg Island amid reports thousands of US marines are being sent to the Gulf

The US strikes Iran's Kharg Island - hitting 90 military targets on the critical oil processing outpost. Iran has struck back, with strikes on the US Embassy in Baghdad and debris from an intercepted Iranian missile causing a huge fire at one of the UAE's largest oil storage facilities. Meanwhile US and Israeli attacks have continued in Iran. BBC Persian has heard from Iranians, who've told of a fierce wave of overnight strikes.
