As the war against Iran continued through its third week, Joe Kent resigned from position at the director of the National Counterterrorism Council over the war against Iran. In a letter addressed to President Trump that Kent posted publicly, he wrote, "I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation."
