WEST-AUSTRALIË: PERTH in 4K - Ultieme ROAD TRIP met ALLE sights, Fremantle & Koala Park

Australië is een paradijs voor iedere reiziger. Het gigantische land zit vol wilde dieren, prachtige natuurrijke plekken en culturele hoogtepunten. Na een eerdere reis langs de oostkust van Australië, bezoeken we nu de westkust in de provincie Western Australia. En hoe? We pakken de 4x4 met twee rooftop tents en trekken de wijde natuur in. We rijden van Perth naar Broome en de vorige keer zag je ons een uitstap maken naar Margaret River in het zuiden. In dit tweede deel is het de beurt aan de enige grote stad van de westkust: Perth! We zien de prachtige skyline, wandelen door King's Park en de botanische tuinen. We zien daar ook de oudste baobab boom van Australië van wel 750 jaar oud en het oorlogsmonument van de stad. We duiken het centrum in bij Elisabeth Quay, doen een bierproeverij bij Island Beerhouse en rijden naar het koloniale Freemantle. Tot slot is er ook tijd voor een bezoek aan het Cohunu Koala Park, een natuurreservaat waar alle Australische dieren goed te bekijken zijn. Wat een avontuur! Na dit eerste deel zullen we nog een bezoek brengen aan Perth, Fremantle, Rotnest Island, the Pinnacles, Geraldton, Hutt Lagoon, Calbarri National Park, Hamlin Pool, Shark Bay, François Peron, Monkey Mia, Carnarvon, Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth, Cape Range National Park, Karijini National Park, Port Headland, 80 Mile Beach, Cape Keraudren en Broome. Onze reis door Australië maken we tijdens een wereldreis van een jaar. Misschien blijven we zelfs voor onbepaalde tijd reizen. Op nieuwjaarsdag begonnen we op Lanzarote en Fuerteventura, de Canarische Eilanden. Daarna zag je ons in Oman, Kaapverdië, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, de Bahama's, de Verenigde Staten, Mexico, Ecuador, de Galapagos-eilanden, Brazilië, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesië, Vietnam en Maleisië. Het volgende continent Australië is inmiddels alweer onze negentiende bestemming. Volg ons op deze wereldreis, eerst in Perth, dan de rest van West-Australië en daarna naar nog veel meer mooie bestemmingen. We steken ook over naar Afrika!
